STAN
SHORT DOCUMENTARY, 2017
ROLE | DIRECTOR / PRODUCER / DOP
STAN is an independent short film exploring love, anger, togetherness and diversity, whilst pondering poetry, hidden talents, humour and fish and chips.
What passions, dreams and stories lie behind your city, town or community? Extraordinary things exist in ordinary places - like fish and chip shops. One cold winter's night in Harehills, we discovered Stan. Exploring love, togetherness and diversity, with poetry and humour, Stan reminds us that we all have a voice and that we have far more in common than that which divides us.
As the Jamaican national motto says “Out of many, one people”.
A film by BEN G. BROWN.
Edited and Coloured by LIA HAYES.
Music and Sound Design by ELVIO CARINI
